The grade system switch (Accounts > Localization > Local Grades) is a display and naming change only — no data migrates. Make the switch during a quiet midweek before grade promotion so labels are correct when you promote: the week before Promotion Sunday, after the last children’s ministry event of the school year, and before VBS registrations open. Update any Check-Ins grade filters immediately after.
