Migration timeline

What to expect when you make the switch, week by week, so you can plan around it.

We'll email you the download. No cost, and you can unsubscribe from The Fold any time.

What's inside

  • Weeks 1–3: kick off, export your current data, review it with us, and run discovery on how your church actually works
  • Weeks 3–4: import People and Giving data into Planning Center
  • Weeks 4–6: train staff and volunteers, and run both systems side by side for a short time
  • Weeks 6–12: launch Check-ins, stop using the old ChMS, roll out the rest of the apps
  • Weeks 12–26: set up remaining applications, finalise the giving migration, move to strategy calls

How you'll get it

Leave an email address and the download arrives in your inbox — 1 page, nothing to sit through, and yours to pass round your team.

You'll also start getting The Fold, our newsletter for church operations teams. That's the trade, and it's the only one.

Worth knowing

This is the adoption clock — the whole rollout, from kick-off to a team that runs Planning Center without thinking about it. The data migration itself is the part we guarantee: in, cleaned and correct, inside 30 days.

Want to talk it through?

We've moved hundreds of churches onto Planning Center. If the download raises more questions than it answers, that's a conversation rather than another PDF.
